This truck came into use about 1922 and continued to be used until the conversion to roller to roller bearings, it was sometimes referred to as the conventional truck. Although designed by Bettendorf, several other companies made almost identical trucks.
Part #203 $395.00 pr. This is the ARA standard 70 ton Andrews truck using crown cast steel side frames. The PRR used this truck around 1919 on freight cars including H25 hoppers, G22 gondolas, and F25 flat cars.
