These trucks were used in general service from about 1900 until they were outlawed for interchange January 1, 1938. Some may still be found on work equipment. Earlier arch bar trucks usually had a shorter wheel base.
70 PRR Andrews (4 3/4″ Gauge)
Part #203 $340.00 pr. This is the ARA standard 70 ton Andrews truck using crown cast steel side frames. The PRR used this truck around 1919 on freight cars including H25 hoppers, G22 gondolas, and F25 flat cars.
